PASSPORT SERVICES
First Time Passport Applicants
If you are a U.S. citizen, but have never been issued a U.S. passport, you
must apply in person at the U.S. Consulate General. Please, remember to
first
make an appointment you will need to submit:

The
DS-11 application form filled out but NOT signed. You will sign in
the presence of the Consular officer;
Proof of U.S. citizenship please see our section on
Acquisition of U.S. Citizenship for further information
on what documents are acceptable to prove you are a U.S. citizen;
Proof of identity (this can be any valid, government issued ID, e.g.
foreign passport or driver's license, ID card, military ID or U.S. driver's
license);
Two photos (5cm x 5cm, white background);
The appropriate fee.
Note: If you are applying for the first passport for a child under the age
of 18, who was born overseas, you must first report the child's birth.
