Passports for Adults
If your most recent passport was issued less than 15 years ago, and you were
over 16 years of age at the time of issuance, you will be renewing an adult
passport.
To apply for you new adult passport you must submit the following either by mail
or in person after you have
made an appointment:
The DS-82
application form;
Current passport (If you cannot submit your last issued passport, please
see the section on Lost or Stolen passport on the website);
Two photos (5cm x 5cm on a
white background);
The appropriate fee.
Those applying by mail, will need to send
a Giro Postal available at your nearest Spanish Post Office in the amount
of 51. The Giro should be sent to the following address: US Consulate,
Paseo Reina Elisenda, 23, 08034 Barcelona.
Those applying in person will pay directly
at the
Consulate.

If you never have been issued a U.S. passport before, please check our
First Time Passport applicants page.
If you have child support payments outstanding, you may be ineligible to
receive a new U.S. passport.
