Money Transfer Procedure

WESTERN UNION has agreements with several companies allowing money to be transferred expeditiously to and from the U.S. and Spain. 

Depositors who have a credit card with sufficient limit may telephone WESTERN UNION at 800-325-6000.  Otherwise, they must contact the nearest WESTERN UNION office. The depositor should authorize the transfer of the amount needed, state the name of the recipient, and give the city and country in which the recipient is to receive the money. Information regarding the deposit is entered into the computer system for transmission to one of the offices in Spain. Once the authorization is received by the office in Spain, the money (in the amount authorized) will be disbursed to the person needing funds in euros.
