SUMMER WORK/TRAVEL PROGRAM

This program is aimed at university students, who are given the opportunity to get involved in American daily life by spending some months during their summer vacations working and traveling through the United States.

Sponsors place participants taking into account their preferences as far as possible. Employment may be arranged at hotels, restaurants, amusement parks or similar establishments.

Participants receive pay according to minimum wage, as well as assistance to seek lodging, which may be at a dormitory, apartment, or with company staff members.

It is recommended to refer to applicable US regulations at http://exchanges.state.gov/education/jexchanges/private/swt.htm
