Á CORUÑA CONSULAR AGENCY WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT DS-11 PASSPORT APPLICATIONS AS OF FEBRUARY 1, 2008

Effective February 1, 2008, the A Coruña Consular Agency will no longer be able to accept DS-11 Passport Applications. The DS-11 Passport Application is used in the following situations:

Applicants for their first U.S. passport;
Applicants whose passports have been lost or stolen;
Applicants who are trying to renew their old passport, but cannot present their prior passport; and
Applicants under the age of 16.

Applicants who are required to use the DS-11 application may, however, travel to the U.S. Embassy in Madrid or U.S. Consulate General in Barcelona to submit the applications.

U.S. Consular Officers will be making several trips to the A Coruna Consular Agency during the year to accept these applications. If you would like to see a U.S. Consular Officer during one of these trips to file your application, you will need to schedule an appointment through the A Coruna Consular Agency.
